Rotating distributor disperses the feed evenly on to the heated shell. Slotted wiper blades spread, agitate and move the feed down on the heated shell in very short time. Heating is done by heat transfer fluids circulated through the jacket for evaporating volatile compounds under vacuum. Vapours are condensed in an external condenser and the distillate is collected in receiver vessel. The remaining exits the wiped film evaporator and this remaining collected in product receiver flask.
